Hot & Cold

Summer's gone and I can't say that I'm not excited to break out my fall boots and cozy sweaters. I bought this jumpsuit during the beginning of summer from H&M and I never wore it out because it was just too hot. Now that it's getting cooler out, I love it because I can wear it on its own on warm days, and I can also throw a sweater on top of it and wear it as harem-type pants.
A belt with this outfit is a must. The one I am wearing is a thin, nude leather belt from H&M. In fact, I just realized that everything I am wearing in this outfit is from H&M.
The hard part is finding the right shoes to wear, which I am still figuring out (suggestions?).

I am keeping it simple with the makeup these days - don't really have time for anything else.

Face: Missha perfect cover B.B. cream & MAC mineralize skin finish
Cheeks: Maybelline pure mineral blush in N00 & Dior Amber Diamond
Eyes: Clinique gel eyeliner & Revlon 3D extreme mascara
Lips: MAC blankety lipstick

I am loving the Missha BB cream even more than when I first reviewed it. The finish is amazing, I may be addicted to it. Also loving winged eyeliner without any eye shadow, I don't know why I didn't try it out sooner.

In other news, I finally got new tripod so I can take more pictures...of myself.

Color Block

When I first got this shirt, I loved it but I had no idea how to wear it. It is that weird length that is too long for shorts, and just looks strange when paired with jeans. So, it stayed hanging in my closet until one day I saw it randomly laying next to these peachy orange shorts and I could not resist this accidental color block. 

I paired it with a set of peach and gold bangles from Charlotte Russe mixed with a few gold stone bracelets from Forever21 - these come in a set and are perfect for mixing in with other bracelets. 

My shirt finally got to see the light of day in an outfit that I love. 

It looks great with a pair of nude flats, or pumps for a dressier look.

Wednesday Sights

I spent my day in Brooklyn, on one of the many trips that I have been on in the past few weeks to look for the perfect new apartment. I will be moving to the city sometime over the summer, which is exciting, but also nerve racking. It was a beautiful day in Brooklyn - the perfect day for apartment hunting, ice cream cones, and pictures.

Maxi Fever

Maxi dresses are everywhere right now, and I can't say that I am opposed. 

I am 5'3" and I never thought I would be able to pull of the maxi dress look, but after seeing how good they look on so many other people, I was itching to give it a try. After a trip to the mall with my intentions set on buying a maxi dress, I walked away with two from H&M. Right now, I am really drawn to the solid colored ones because they are easy to wear, but I can see myself falling in love with a pretty patterned one too. 

Yesterday I decided to take my maxi dress out for a spin, and here is how I wore it.

It was the perfect day to wear this dress. Maxi dresses feel so nice and flowy, your legs will thank you for it. 

In short, I think I am in love with wearing them, pairing them with different things, and seeing what comes out. I will definitely go back for more!

I Got Sunshine

We finally got some beautiful warm weather -no jackets required - it was about time!

It was a pretty lazy today, I slept in, went out for lunch, and spent the day with my boyfriend.

 Classes are over! That means I can dedicate more time to the finer things in life - like blogging. It also means that I have more time and energy to dress myself. With that being said here is what I wore today.
